Town centre public realm masterplan

The Revitalisation Plan was commissioned to improve, revitalise and enhance Horsham’s Town Centre and specifically its public realm, to attract new business and more people.  The aim of the project was to understand the character, opportunities and challenges in the public realm, and to devise a place-based design response. The process identified the features that make Horsham special, different and quintessentially regional. A core component of the project was to listen to the community, and the result is a plan that has been checked and considered by hundreds of people. The central tenet of the strategy was to balance community and Council aspirations with a highly practical and implementable plan.
